These blades for the Faithfull 3 in 1 (Shoulder / Bullnose / Chisel) plane are 27mm (1.1/16") wide and 2.4mm thick made from high carbon steel with a 25° bevel. High carbon tool steel is relatively easy to sharpen and hone using conventional methods. A final wipe on a strop produces a very fine edge. A sharp blade is a joy to use. Note: These Faithfull blades represent excellent value for money. A little work sharpening the blade will be most rewarding.
