The Erika 85Ec system package includes the saw itself plus; Sliding Table offering 905mm length of cut. Extension table plus two support rails for increased rip capacity. 1,000mm long fence with adjustable repeat stop and a Mafell clean box for chip collection. This package is a superb piece of kit covering many sawing needs and with the pull-push saw action offers great potential. For general cross cutting, the work remains stationary supported against the MFA fence. The blade is pulled forwards and through the work. In many ways it takes over many functions of a crosscut mitre saw. The Erika 85Ec gives you a maximum pull cross cut of 430mm. Use the sliding table to increase that to 905mm.The MFA multipurpose guide fence has two faces at 90°, perfect mitres are guaranteed every time. Ripping is carried out with the MFA fence on the right hand side with the blade locked. The blade tilts for bevel cuts from -3° to +48°. The riving knife can be removed for plunge cuts, made by raising the blade up through the work. The 2,500W CUprex motor runs ultra smooth and features variable speed. The Erika 85Ec is suitable (with the correct blade fitted) of cutting solid wood, manmade boards, plastics and aluminium profiles. The integral folding stand makes for easy transportation and quick set up on site. The rear legs have wheels for maneuverability. An adjustable leg ensures stability on uneven surfaces. Extraction is from above and below the blade. When hooked up to a vacuum, extraction is highly efficient. All the controls are situated on the front of the machine, including the NVR on/off switch.
