The foliage is the star here. It's grass-like, so forms a low mound, and it has a green central strip that runs along its length. This is bordered by a creamy margin, which takes on an orange glow when the temperatures drop. If you want something compact, colourful and low maintenance, then you cant go wrong with this! Garden care: Comb through the plant in late winter to remove any dead foliage. Feed with a general purpose fertiliser during the growing season and if necessary, lift and divide over-large clumps in early spring.
