GROWING CONDITIONS - Grow Hydrangea macrophylla in moist but well draining soil in full sun to partial shade, sheltering from cold, drying winds. Hydrangeas like to be kept well watered but don’t like to be sitting in water logged soil. Due to their environmental conditions, blue and pink hydrangeas can change colour depending on the acidity level of the soil they are planted in. FLOWERS - Hydrangeas can also be used as cut flowers allowing you to enjoy them in your home and garden. When cutting to use in a vase, cut straight across the stem when removing from the plant.
